Linda Adhiambo Oucho holds a PhD in Ethnic Relations (2012) from the University of Warwick Centre, an MA in Advice and Paralegal Work from London Metropolitan University (2006) and a BA in Humanities from the University of Botswana (2004). Currently, she is the Director of Research and Data Hub at the African Migration and Development Policy Centre (AMADPOC) in Nairobi Kenya. Linda has been involved in several projects with the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), European University Institute, the International Centre for Policy Migration and Development (ICMPD) and the African, Caribbean and Pacific Observatory on Migration. She has been the Project Director for two projects under the Migrating Out of Poverty Research Programme Consortium (MOP/RPC) in Kenya and Ethiopia and more recently the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), ‘Migration Profile of Kenya’ project expected to be completed by November 2014. In addition, she has participated in several consultancies focusing on different development and policy related issues. Finally, she has represented her organisation in several national and international conferences, seminars and forums including the Global Forum for Migration and Development (GFMD) in 2012 and 2014.
