The call for public engagement with the Green Paper offers a unique opportunity for civil society to inform South Africa’s impending new migration policy-making process.

We hope that the upcoming policy and legislative drafting, as well as the process of public consultation, will lead to a rethink of effective strategies to inform a good and ethical governance of human mobility.

The Catholic Parliamentary Liaison Office (CPLO), the Scalabrini Institute for Human Mobility in Africa (SIHMA) and the Pastoral Care for Migrants and Refugees of the Catholic Archdiocese of Johannesburg invite you to a roundtable discussion on some of the most critical issues pertaining the migration policy reform with the aim of preparing submissions on the Green Paper.
